Group 1001 Supports Youth Programs Teaching the Importance of Healthy Activity

Partner Spotlight: Indiana Sports Corp

Our non-profit partner, Indiana Sports Corp (ISC), was founded in 1979 as the nation's first sports commission. ISC hosts world-class events to drive economic vitality, facilitates a vibrant community with civic pride, garners national and international media attention, and creates opportunities for youth.

Group 1001’s partnership supports the Indiana Sports Corp's Inspiring Sports youth programs which positively impact thousands of underserved kids each year. Clinics, grants, and curriculum-based programs teach valuable life skills and the importance of health activity.

This past June, Group 1001 presented the 35th annual Indiana Sports Corp Charity Golf Tournament. All proceeds from the event went toward the Inspiring Sports grant program.

More than $82,000 was awarded to 17 youth-serving organizations impacting nearly 16,00 children across the state of Indiana in 2022.

“Since our partnership with Group 1001 began in 2020, we have positively impacted more than 100,000 Indiana children through sports,” said Patrick Talty, president of Indiana Sports Corp. “This level of impact would not be possible without Group 1001 and their tremendous support of our mission.”

Additionally, Group 1001 has participated in the Indiana Sports Corp Corporate Challenge for the past six years led by team captain Joe Dewing, lead data analyst. Through coordinating and energizing strong employee teams, Joe and Group 1001 employees contribute to Indiana Sports Corp’s mission. This year, Group 1001 integrated the Corporate Challenge into its 1001 Hours of Impact initiative, working towards empowering communities where we work and live. More than 60 employees participated on our Corporate Challenge team.

“Giving back helps people, who then strengthen the community, and that makes the world a better place,” said Joe.

We’re proud to partner with Indiana Sports Corp and help local children prosper and grow.
